sundown 2500 amp problems

i installed 2 15s atomic d4 in 98 s10 6.5 cubic subs pass side port driver my problem is i thought i blow subs so i bought 2 sa 15 d4 didnt want recone the others but maybe my amp how can i test amp it plays when its cold outside when its gets any temp on it it goes into protect an sounds like subs blow i tryed rca i tryed power battery is less than 15 inches from amp i have 2 under hood with 1/0 wire to back battery an 1/0 ground from frame an body please help

d4s got at 1 ohm was working good at first i started breaking it in now dont no whats goin on

check voltage while playing

and if mounted to box take it off the box

ok voltage right at amp playing is 10 on rap music amp is on box im moving it now

ok i guess im gonna need more battery an bigger altenator its 98 s10 2.2 whats biggest altenator i can put on it

ya got ground up front going to frame also ????? id say its a bad ground

Ya defianetly check your ground measure each end of it and see if there is any resistance..
