| hey guys, need some feedback from competitors. in order to start making a push into the lower power classes we are thinking of launching some amps that will be rated 500 x1 @ 4, ultra low stability and 18v capable. we have some proto types already, but never launched the amp into production but may if there is a demand for it. pics show amp in old style heatsink, we will put it in the new white style heatsink for production models. | |

| Sounds like a great idea to me, will be great for the 0-1k and 0-600 classes if 500@4ohms. Needs to be equal or greater than the current leading amps in those classes. | |

| Well thats what it would take, thats for sure! I'm using a cactus 600.1 and no one even seems to want them anymore, its all about the D5, but i don't blame anyone since its practical for both classes and my amp is not. | |

| Do you now if the 4.1s are comparable on 12V too, or is that only with 16V? I remember reading somewhere that the Treos don't do very well on 12V but I can't remember if it was a credible source. | |

| thanks for all the positive feedback. after seeing the response here and on other forums we are going to work at getting the amps available asap. the amp utilizes some of the same components/technology from our original m1mki amplifiers. so even though most b2 amps are engineered for 15.5v applications, do not fear we have experience in ultra low impedance hi voltage design as well. | |

| I'm not super familiar with how to stick pix on here and make them large enough so you can see them, so I will refer you to this link! http://www.carstereoclassifieds.org/forum/showthread.php?t=5212Stout little amp, the amp featured in that link is the last of the black heatsink amps from europe, new u.s. market amps will have the white heatsink. I know from experience that competing is expensive, and that normally people with the most $ win in USACi. With that in mind, we are trying to make an even playing field for everyone and trying our best to keep the pricing of the amplifier reasonable. So, we are offering the amp to competitors at the price of $925. | |

| After some testing and redesigning, here is a pic of the 2012 guinea pig of the Zero5 pcb. Production will be with red PCB, B2 logos on caps, and in the white heatsink. Small amp, big power. 18v ready. Amps will be here in the states in 4-6 weeks. Rated: 500x1@4@14.4@1%thd 2000x1@1@14.4@1%thd | |

| target is the same power, just smaller footprint and more effecient, so will get as loud with less battery. also the one yall tested had the 16v driver card in it, these will all be 18v, so we will be down on power at lower voltages but can hopefully get a little more umpff with the big voltage. | |
