Dont worry here in the next year or so i plan on buying a new truck. Now i actually have a reason to buy a diesel besides the point that i just want one haha. The trailer im looking at buying now is rated at 14,000 pounds. I think that should be big enough. | |

| Maybe depends on what she will weight after all the concrete and glass mine weights in at 14,000 loaded. It is very quick to lose interest in a build like this when I tried my first one I thought quick load it up biuld a few walls and there is the 170's but not true, everything makes a big difference when building and extreme. There is a build log on drag site called how long will this take, look at it has lots of pics and the guy building it is reel cool ask him and he will help u out. And I would also see is Danny or his father can help and Craig also these are some of the people that helped me out | |

| Not the best pictures in the world. When i get it back home ill get some really good pictures. Didnt have much time. Just wanted to get it loaded and go home. Body needs quite a bit of work. There is a lot of body filler that has shrunk and has cracked the paint. You can tell who ever had this van just let it sit outside and rot away. Looks like the jeep doesnt like it but its sitting in a ledge against the road which makes it look like its squatting big time. But it did great pulling the van Im going to have to put some more bolts for the door. and the picture all of you have been waiting for. What ever is left in there is getting stripped and redone | |

| Gut everything inside to factory metal and start building steel frame, doors, dash, roof, floor, sides. From the pictures rip the windows out and make stronger window frames to hold 4 inches. after you figure out the thickness you what your walls solid cut sections and pour with resin and playsand. Connect your steel with rebar so the resin will form around it a make it more solid. Take the roof skin off and pour roof solid. Make sure when you redo the front windshield to make it flat. When I say pour it, I mean from the outside in. the only way you know you covered all the area and not miss any. When building the floor make fairly large squares, cut little pieces of rebar and weld to the floor. pour floor flush with squares sand resin and polish for the floor. back wall is very important mine is 12 inches thick. Make sure not to cut any corners on the back wall. Weld piping in the door where you want all your bolts before pouring the door. Line your inner walls with steel or wood before pouring. This will get you started in the right direction. | |

| wow thanks a ton craig!!! i just heard about the sand and resin thing and looks like he has quite a bit to do!! so you are basically saying to build steel frames in the doors, dash, roof, floor and sides then put a layer of wood on it then fill it all in with the resin and sand mixture? and for the roof basically just pull the entire skin off fill with the mix and rebar then put skil back on? or can u just put a big sheet of plate steel on it? and i see u mean no wood on floor the basic metal squares framed in then filled with rebar and the resin mix like concrete level for the floor? also can we just weld the side door shut too? if i remember right yours doesnt have 1.lol also if u dont remember im the guy that was across from u at finals this year in the maroon crx. and thanks again for all the advise!! | |

| Put factory skin back on and tack and bondo back in. Not putting factory skin back on can cause rule problems .Need to put factory thickness back on for OEM skin. | |

| I remember 4 or 5 years ago Eddie Marino had bought that van from Michael Hughes and used to run 4 18s in it at the time which is what it was built for..Had a backwards angle rear wall and got it a shade over 170..Heck this might have been more like 6 years ago..This van at 1 time was in Ft Pierce Florida..Had around 1200 inches of port if I remember right..Should be a Great project for ya | |
