Joint Finals a success. USACI numbers down due to very remote (from USACI) location but better than expected. Results posted on web site.

ok. i got my amp n battery box build for my rear floorboard n got it all wired up. voltage is no longer an issue for me. did some testing on the termlab @ the local shop here n i must say DAM im impressed. wired @ 2 ohms i pulled a 148.6 n wired @ .5 ohms i pulled a 151.9, n i haven't done ANY sound deadening yet. thats way better than last years 141.5. so if im correct i will be in the stock 601-1800 class. got to give thanks to my local shop again cuz without his help i know i would never have got the scores that i did with the money i have invested in my system.

ya thats a 10.4 db gain from last years score, but i couldnt have done it without your help. i hope to gain a db or two by sound deadening. n for those guys out there who say "screw the local shops buy online" i say screw that. can you talk face to face(or even over the phone) to even 1/2 of the online dealers? n how much do the online dealers even know about car audio or the products they sell? would most online dealers give you a non bias answer or advise? i am so glad my local shop is more than willing to let me come in n talk face to face(or call, text) n bounce ideas or questions around. i say support ur local shop, doesnt mean you have to buy from only them but support your local shop. if there wasnt a shop in sidney,mt or williston,nd would there be usaci comps in either sidney or williston? just my thoughts.

And why pay a shop 1100 dollars for an amp that can be bought for 350 brand new with the same warranty. Shops have ridiculous markups on equipment.

some do but we gotta make money to pay the bills ...... all i can say is good luck with warranty issues with online sales...there are prices at cuitchfeild that is lower then what we can even get them for ... usually 50 to 100 dollars cheaper then dealer cost ..... but like i said good luck with warranties

Have had no more warranty issues than had when was buying from local shops. I understand that the shops have bills to pay, I have a business of my own, but with 3 and 4 hundred percent markups, its a butt ripping. Wish it wasnt that way but it is. Would be more than willing to pay fair prices at local shops if they existed. Would love to see all the old local shop shows again too, but it aint gona happen. Wouldnt buy used manure from crutchfield, theyre higher than the shops around here.

idk what local shops u have where ur @ but here in sidney my local shop kicks *ss. no online dealer would make time 2 let me do some testing on thier termlab or in the middle of rewiring my subs just hand me some extra wire for my jumpers or let me pay half now n half later or let me watch n gain insight on installs or box builds or sub rebuilds. im proud that we have a local shop in this podunk town, n that the owner of that shop thinks of his customers as people not money signs. he also has a shop 2 run, n i think any smart person would know this, so he can only help out so much on the cost but he does what he can. iwould much rather pay alittle extra n be able 2 go in n talk in person 2 the owner if there is a problem or concern than buy online n have 2 type or call up some random joe blow who may or may not know Dung Pile about any products that his employer sells.

thats what im saying. but it just hit me like a ton of bricks, mabee all shops arent run like my local shop is down here? then my sir you are somewhat correct. IF, n i said if, my local shop treated me like another shop, wont say what shop, but if my local shop treated me like the other shop did i wouldnt be to pleased either. i tell you what though even though my local shop isnt ur local shop if you were to walk into my local shop the owner would treat you with respect n like a person not a money sign. if you have a ? he would give a non bias answer or advise, MY LOCAL SHOP N ITS OWNER ROCKS, N IM LOUD N PROUD 2 SAY THAT. i guess im lucky to have a local shop like that.

It pisses me off to walk in to a local shop( not gona name it) down here with 4 smug sumbytches working there including the owner and theyre not doin 10 head units a week acting like they arent making any money but every one of them driving bmw's or hummers and they act like theyre doin you a favor to take ten dollars of a 1200 head unit that could be had for half or two thirds the cost and them still make money. They could double or triple their business with decent pricing.
