| you can wire the 12v side to charge like this, and it will bring the 16v side up as well, but not fully supply enough amperage this way to fully re-charge the 16v side of them
some people say if you use the 16v side dont use the 12v side at the same time because it doesnt work right or some Dung Pile
i have used them both ways myself, and the 12v side of the battery is the smallest side internally so it drains quickly, and then pulls amperage from the 16v side then.
my race car has one of these in it i run the cars electrical system off the 12v side charging it, and my fuel pump is wired to the 16v side for better voltage and more output from it.

| its ez man use the 12v battery for the car
take the 2 16v batts buss bar the 16v negatives togather, and the 16v positives togather
16v+ to the amp + 16v- to the amp -
then also ground the 16v- to the chassy of the vehicle somewhere

| Wow, i never knew those 16v batteries had a 12v tap 2 cells over, neat. Anyways, i would 12v daily that setup and do like most of these guys and separately charge the 16v cell configuration for comps. | |

| run the 12 volt poles to your alternator, and bang your amp of the 16 volt. just like your diagram. charge the 16 volt side nightly with a 16v charger, and your good. also, hook the 16 volt poles together
Warning-----------the easiest way to hurt these batteries is to try to charge the 12 volt pole with a 16 volt charger. be aware.

| well considering the fumes alone can corrode and do eat through the battery trays in most older vehicles, i would think it going into your lungs is just as damaging to vital tissue. | |
