| I will be getting either 2 dc xl 18s/ 2 crossfire xs v1 18s this week and am doing a nice daily box. my problem is that with 1 18 its easy airspace wise to account for but 2 18s is little harder
i have 41.25 wide x 24 tall x 37 deep to the hatch
my question is this, do i make the box big enough to go all the way to the back of the hatch and do sub port up ORRRR do i make it a tiny bit taller and not so deep and do sub up port back?
now this is for daily groundpounding i already have my numbers box setup so i just wanna make a hairtrick box if you will... terry feel free to chime in please, along with any other explorer gurus | |

| You should be good with 12 cubes or so, tuned to 30hz, subs up port back. you wanna leave at least a few inches off the hatch for the port to breathe. Something like 40x32x18 should work pretty well. | |

| Yeah I am having the same problem in my Navigator. I have try to choose if I want subs up and port back or subs back and port back , or just a wall. I am going to do two 18" Juggs on two Mmats 4000.1 .

| With just 2 18 in a full size suv you should have no issue with how to fit. | |

| Subs up port back normally will meter a little better. But for sound I really don't believe its much different either way. Kirshland has 4 18s and port up in his tahoe.. it slams. | |
