Street q

Lots of talk last year . Not much action at finals

I was helping a guy last year but he backed out .
I am thinking about it

Few reasons I think.

Most SPL guys don't look at the SQ rules, and that is where street q is listed. Someone starting in spl would not see this listed anywhere in the spl section of the rules, and may not know it exists.

Just not enough sound q attention yet at shows. Any spl guys interested in this, may not have a chance to talk to a sq guy, or see a sq setup to see what it is about.

I think that one reason might the extra cost at finals-but I could be wrong. To compete in this at finals, have to enter your spl and then street q.

I'm planning on entering in this at a few shows, but if it takes off and there is a lot of competition, I'll probably let the new guys take a shot.

It really is a good class to get some one on one time with a judge to help get a good SQ setup going.

I think you should take a shot at it chris. You have a good spl score to back up the sq score.

I Want to play in different things this year , trunk is getting Old . The only system I I have had sense 2000 is a trunk

I know what you mean-I did strictly SQ from 97 to 2004, until SB came around. Tried it and had a lot of fun.

I do a lot of different classes now, keeps it fun and interesting. Only problem is, it is tough to come up with the $$'s sometimes to compete with the top guys in the class.

I totally agree with you , that is the main reason I competed the 1st year to try and help it grow . Lat year I was hoping for a better grow , but it would help to have some one like chris runnning this class to help it keep alive and maybe bring more SPL intrest in this class .I would not mind doing this class again if it would help keep interest and grow.

not sure what all classes i will do this year.
street beat 4 and 5 mod 1 - 2 k, and super mod,port and super port street q and some other sq class.
