| yea, that was before my time, but back then if you were running 500-1000 watts you were doing some serious Dung Pile! Obvious i was not around to see it, but i heard everyone was running sealed walls. | |

| My first amp was a Sanyo PA6100 on 2 6x9's back in 1986. The next was an Orion 280gx (which I have 2 of them right now) on 2 MTX 15's. Then is was a Linearpower 5002 on 2 Kicker Stillwater 15's. Changed the amp later to a PPI 2300m (which I have 3 of those right now also) on the same 2 15's. I had several other amps along the way from 1986 to 1991 but those are just some of what I had back then.
The last setup I had before getting into the Navy on 1991 was 4 Stillwater freeair 15's on a Sansui 6000 (which was made by PPI and had the same board as the 2300am) but it got stolen the day before I left for boot camp. | |
