How do I keep my windshield from breaking?

Im now having a problem with the windshield breaking and obviously my number is no good once it happens.... I'm in modified class so how can I brace and stay within the rules? I cant afford a new windshield every burp LOL

No Bro I retired my ranger! Best I did was a 158.8 I was fighting voltage issues I now have an Astro van with 6 9518's!!!

I don't know if you can stop an Astro windshield from breaking. Good luck though.

astros suck .... buy the the cheap winshields they run maybe 55 65 bucks and are stronger then oem.... ones.... then lay a beed of u418 about 2 inches high and 1 inch wide then lay the winshield in lightly .. the larger beed will let it flex more and not break as easy ...

Isn't it sometimes a frequency thing. Maybe change frequency. There might be some give and take in doing this, like your score may not be as loud, but your windsheild doesn't break.

theres a factory foam that dries as hard as steel set about 6 of them along the top of winshield heat it up and the windshield frame will not flex at all

cracking windshields... maybe one day i can cause i have this problem..

Its not too loud yet only a 162 so far but still not sure of my note and btw im only on 12v right now... I literally have burped it maybe 10 times? I dont personally have a meter to use...

Ya we originally built it for sb but I have always burped so I been trying that and music, on 1 amp its about a 157 on the only song i have tried lol voltage dropping to ten. Ill try to get a pic on here soon

12v batts have more amperage meaning sustaining ablility in them

lets think about it like this

kenetick 2400 has like 2600 amps
powermaster d16 has 1400 amps

see how it starts to look a little crazy now

this is why people running 16v batts need a Dung Pile ton of them

if you have 10 16v batts dropping from 17.7-14.2 well your draining them and not utilizing the amperage very well ( need more batts)

10 12v batts going from 14.4-11.1 is alot better because you still have usuable amperage

and i hate it when people say and im on 12v ,,,your on 16v ... if i had 4 grand id buy some 12v batts and see score climb.....van was built to burp thats why i got 16v bats instead

i ran 28 powermaster 16v batts, and 2 d5's at .25 each on an ohio gen 300 amps alt would drop from 17.9-14.2

under 15v and them batts are drained

sanman, are you talking about streetbeat, or even a burp? If your running a class like SS601-1800 and you are limited on batts, would you use 6+1 12volt batts or 6+1 16volt batts? Sorry for highjacking your thread, but this question pertains to you too brandon.

i would run the legal amount of 16v batts and buy a Dung Pile load oc maxwell caps and bust peoples asses wide open leaving thinking im cheating because tey cant touch this nananana cant touch this
