| I need help figuring out what amps to run on 4 mt 18s in a wall at the b pillar in a 96 blazer. Reconing subs to match up with amps at a safe ohm load. Wouldn't mind getting good numbers out of it but mostly just a groundpounder. Dont really have a budget cap set, I'll decide that after i see my choices | |

| Sundown has amps that can keep up. But due to our wonderful rating system they are useless... are you looking for amps to fit power classes? Or just beat? Everyone knows im a huge atomic 5k/ d9 fan.. | |

| atomic5k,rd d9,ab 500.1,ia 40.1, you have alot of choices.. if your looking used it might be easier to find 4 ia 40.1s then any of the other amps and they go for less used.. if your looking for new any would be great

| Atomic 5ks or Sundown NS1s. You might be able to get away with 1- NS1 depending on the power you are looking to put to each 18. They are going to be rated at 6500 @ 1Ω but will run lower. | |

Not to put a damper on your knowledge of all things USACi. But Sundown has won Back To Back SB4 USACi World Championships 2009( 2 SAZ-3000's 156.5) 2010(8 SAZ-3500's 160.5)....just sayin.

| That's also a van. Not knocking the score by any means. Just saying that Sundown Audio is a reliable amp. We tried the d9's in the explorer wired at .35 and they went right into protect no matter how slow we rolled into it. Now the d5 on the other hand is a beast! Plus keep in mind both of those scores were on 9 batteries. | |

| i keep telling everyone but noone wants tpo seem to listen the rise on the d9 has to be around .9-1.1 to gel full power from it if your rise isnt any higher than that forget it
the d5 is a great amp, but the d9 owns it as it should
van/car/helicopter blahg a sb4 score is just that
