| I see some things never change...per the rules: - Quote :
RESPONSIBILITY OF COMPETITOR: The competitor is responsible for his or her vehicle and audio system and any physical or mechanical damage resulting from their use or misuse of the vehicle and/or the audio system therein. It is the competitor’s responsibility to know and abide by the rules contained in this book. If an amplifier rating cannot be determined by the head judge at any event it is the responsibility of the competitor to provide manufacturers literature or other paperwork to verify the power rating of the amplifiers in question At least I checked the car to see what it was. Maybe you would prefer I not look at the car and just take everyone's word for it. I didn't know the rating because I don't spend every second of my life on this forum. We looked it up and found it to be ok and the competitor was allowed to run his class. As for Bret running two power classes in mod, it was an error in the computer and it was resolved before final results were turned over to Scrapin the Coast for awards. I moved Bret to Super Mod Extreme to avoid hurting competitors in any other class who thought they had won prior to the end of the event. I handle my business, but I don't have time to keep up with all of this on here.

Again, quoted directly from USACI 2011 SPL rules: - Quote :
PROPER POWER CLASS: A competitor may not compete in a power class other than the one that his/her total system power dictates. The exception to this would be the unlimited or “OPEN” power class The competitor signed up for 1801+, aka an unlimited power class! Per the rules, and the competitor's choice, this was allowed.

Or that its wrong for us to take a situation or comment to heart but ok for you to get upset about it?
