| yea somehow i learned that when i was little, i was watching a movie with my dad and this vietnam veteran guy walked by a dumpster and saw an American flag in the trash, and he took it out and the next scene he was burning it. It kinda confused me and i had to ask why, and that's how i learned about it. | |

| actually they burned it because it had "hit the ground" an american flag is never suppose to hit the ground and when it does the old theory is you are suppose to burn it
i have alway been confused on this a well if we see someone from a foriegn country burning our flag its bad, but if we do it well it's ok under certain condition.
in the end to me its the same because its still being burnt.
i would rather see it burried in the soil it represents, but thats just me | |
