| I see you are with team Rd Audio, would like to pick your brain sometime tomorrow, its late here, but was waiting up to see if you would respond. Think you could assist me, in the midst of having a system installed in my car with RD Audio components & was wondering if local audio shop was on the right page with their recommendations. Could I call you sometime tomorrow, or we can go over it in the forum. Spent $2800 in the last 3 days on amps, component installation, & dynamat, & still gotta ways to go, no subs, which is my biggest concern. Thanks, Eric

| Dynamat floorboard, trunk, headliner, & all 4 doors 4 Cdt Audio HD-6.5" component systems & 2- 6.5" midbass in rear doors. Total 6- 6.5s & 4 tweeters all installed & wired. 1 ARC Audio 4150 4-channel amp. The Big 3 with 0 gauge. Dual amp power & ground with 0 gauge.( will now need bigger inline fuse, battery or even alternator, idk Tinted windows, forgot about that. And... RD Audio D9. Actually have already paid for the box that was gonna have 2 12" RD Audio Elites. May be going bigger now that i've aquired the D9, instead of getting the 1750.1 So, what do you see the D9 pushing in a Nissan Altima without losing the back seat? Still gotta get subs & plan on getting JVC-840 double din. Been dreaming of something like this since I was 16 years-old, kinda fell out of the loop back in 2002! But its on now!

| ezmoney, find you two big giant nasty stiff tens or twelves. run that amp between .33 and .5 ohms and put some battery on it. | |

| i would personally run 2 h.w. 12's wth the d9 for daily i would keep it around .7 and burps around .25 on 12v
.7 wll keep it pretty cool for temps
.25 will keep it pretty powerfull for burps

| I wasn't able to run them at .25 . They will protect even with the amp set clean. | |

Well, what would you recommend. been out of the loop for 10 years, never favored JVC, but that is what they advised. really, give me some much-needed advice, here.

| i have run alpine hu's in my last 4 cars, i have worked at two alpine dealers and i see less of those come back than any other, the very first shop i worked at, we sold jvc, and when those came back or when the customer came back to have an upgrade or something, their jvc's were ragged out, they have poor quality, paint/finish rubbed off all the buttons, mechanicals not working right.. this was back when they made the "el kameleon" though.
Also, it would be helpful to make sure you hu has a play/pause button.. i just got done building a box for a friend so he could do some comps, and when we started testing, i realized his sony hu doesn't have a play/pause.. so you have to roll the volume up and the volume has analog bars instead of a digital read out, so you can't be consistent on your hu volume.. hu is only 4 years old..

although i did run nakamichi and it was pretty kick as also, but really spendy the first shop i worked at sold nak, but i never once installed a unit, for the price everyone was grabbing our alpine's instead. that shop closed about 8 years ago and all the old inventory is sitting in the owners garage.. so i know where a nak indash 5disc is, a standard nak hu, plus some old unpowered amps, usamps hc100, etc.. i thought about going buying one of the nak hu's to use for spl but i didn't know how they would fair out against other hu's in terms of rca output voltage, etc, i never looked at their specs.
