battery mounting

Has anyone had any issues with putting batteries close to their sub enclosures?
I have an 92 eclipse and looking at putting the batteries in the hatch area.

i ran a 2001 eclipse with the same Cow poopy hatch you have witht he damm cross member in there it sux

i ran 3 12's in a triangle shape on tope of the box man

i ran batts on the sides of the box
with amps in front of that beam worked fine fo me

Thats about the same setup that I'm runnin, and that crossmember does suck!
Running 2-15's does o.k., looking at putting the batts in the back, next to the box, same as your setup was.

Just wanted to be sure that it wouldn't cause any issues.
