| Recently I bought 2 re mt 18s that I have in a 96 4 door chevy blazer I will be running 4 audiopipe 3000s, the question is should I wall it at the c pillar or not? Which would be louder? | |

| You can, but C-pillar walls don't always turn out well. Try "normal boxes" and see if you can get good results.
For my 96 RAV4, the best positions I've found thusfar are: - with back seats in, subs back (4" from the gate) and ports up or driver's side. - without seats, subs up, ports back (4" from the gate)... CRX style, but offset to passenger's side if there's room.
The second configuration offers more smooth output (wider frequency band), but tends to skip the CD player. The first configuration is more peaky to the meter (a good thing), and sounds more musical to the ear.
With 2 18's though... you won't have alot of room. Do you need to keep the rear seats? If not, take your time to play with configurations. I'd talk with "MBrooky" since he has a similar vehicle, and has tried alot of configurations. | |

| i have a 00 blazer and i have two 18 mt's on a ma audio 8O2SX 4400 RMS Sub up port back w the top of the box at top of back seat doing a 148 w low voltage prob easy 150 w a good alt a batts let me know if i can help any | |
