SB CD 2011

Well, like I said in another thread....there is little use in building and testing with other CD/tracks if we are going to have a mandatory official CD.

'supposedly' some people already have the CD, if this is true....then how dam long does it take to get more copies out to show directors to sell to competitors?????

If USACI can get the CD out by the end of April, that will give people time to test and build. But if it will be later than that, to hell w/ having this CD this season. Wait until 2012.

Oh...and GIVE US ALL AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ETA ON THE CD!!!!

It has to come truck freight so shipping will be $150. Its pretty heavy with all the Cow poopy it comes with lol.

I voted no. Anybody can re-tune a box in 5 months. We just need to get that CD out ASAP.

If this isn't an ASAP issue with the CEO... and there's no intention of dropping the CD until 2012... that's a whole different issue. Let's riot in the streets and mutiny!

My Vote:
If we don't see proof of a CD by May, let's make our own CD. Everybody who's anybody in SB can vote for a song, and the most popular 70 minutes of audio gets coined "The Unofficial Street Beat CD". Maybe talk with Decaf and get a slowed version too. Host both versions online, and sell burned copies for $2 at shows. Enough people play it, then it becomes "The Official Street Beat CD" for 2011. 2012 can have the Bass Mechanik-produced CD, if it's ready by then.

I don't want to see attendance or effort drop because of corporate licensing, approval, and turn-around on outsourcing. If the CD really is around the corner, then we've got nothing to worry about.

they need to make a decision but its too late now seriously why not just release it after finals and retire all records this year. that makes more sense then people have a heads up and there can be no bitching (even though people will) id like to start building now and have no idea what to build for!!

it kinda sucks im helping sponsor a usaci show on the 23rd and cant start my build cuz who know what the hell to expect!!

If that is the case could you please give the competitors a list of the songs going to be available on the New SB CD so they can start building for it? That way they are prepared for the rest of the season before Finals in September?

I was just stating a opinion and did not know it would go into a poll question. But it is still my opinion that we should use the NEW SB CD in 2012 not 2011. (hiding under my desk)

Hey I agree with you and I didn't look at it as complaining just wanting to know what is going on with the new CD.

I love USACi too that is why I do what I do for you all

next question is when cd gets back will it take 2 months to ship them out like our memberships
