| I phone!...droids have issues.I have the droid x. When it is working it is the best phone I have ever used. It has hdmi out 5 megapixel cam 16 gig sd card removable battery. Way better phone. But it will stop responding a few times a week and needs to reboot. That is why I would say get the iphone. | |

| i say iphone, it is still number one since it first came out. I have the evo, and its nice, but the games are nicer on the iphone. and the droid does force close a lot for me too. | |

| Droid is my preference, but honestly they're pretty equivalent once you get comfortable with the interfaces. Apple makes you sell your soul a little, but adds some convenience and top-notch GUI.
Other AT&T phone impressions: Samsung is generally known for reliability for AT&T phones... but they've had some hardware issues (touchscreens and slide-out keyboards) lately. I'd steer clear, even if the Captivate is building a good reputation.
If you don't need Facetime but like iOS, the iPhone 3G's are cheap right now.
HTC has a couple good Windows phones, not enough info to support them yet, but it seems promising.
Blackberry has a couple solid performers if you want a no-frills phone w/ text + email.

| I have a Blackberry 8530 Curve from Sprint. Just like everything else, there's things I like about it and things I don't exactly love. I'm due for an upgrade in May and have been "researching" some of the android phones available through Sprint and have sort of fallen upon the Samsung Epic, the HTC EVO 4G and the EVO 4G Shift.
One of two things is sure to happen when I make the choice and purchase, the phone I pick will be a piece of junk or a newer, better one will come out the next day at half the price I just paid.
