thinking about trading my 2 Cactus 5ks for 2 PF600 or 2 D5s

I am running SS601-1800 this year, and the cactus 5k is rated at 3400 watts at 12volts and at 1ohm, and by my calculations that's 850 watts at 4ohms and 12volts. So technically that means I can run 2 cactus 5ks in 601-1800, but people seem to want to put the 5ks in a higher class. Well we all know 3 DD M3As, 3 RD D5s, and 3 Cactus pf600s together put out more power than 2 cactus 5ks. I can sell each of my cactus 5ks for $750 ea, but there are none of the 3 amps I listed above for sale. I have seen the D5s, PF600s, and the DD M3s for sale for $600 each. But always when I have no cash. Well I just sold my mojos and I have my 5ks, so I was trying to see if someone wanted more power without paying for it, here you go. I can get the DDs pretty cheap, so those are not the ones I'm looking for. I am looking for 2 D5s in decent shape or 2 pf600s already modded for 18 volts. If I was to trade for DD M3As, I would need cash on your end. Let me know what you think, and if your interested.

I think the M3a's r rated to high cause the 1365@2ohm rating and that the do it at 11.9v. cause of the "divide by rule" makes it 682.5@4ohms rated at 11.9. And we go by the 4ohm@14.4v so that would make them 700+@4ohm and not a 600w amp. you would have to get the old M3s to be legal to use 3

Afaik the 5Kws are rated @ 5kW at 1 ohm @ 14.4. So 1250 @ 4. We had them put out 7kW @ .25 rising to almost 1 ohm on one XS D3100 (car not running) dropping to 10.4 volts. Very strong amps.

yes they are very strong but their 4 ohm rating sucks, They are pretty much the same amp as a RD D9, and the D9 is rated at 900 watts at 4ohms. You tell me whats stronger 2 rd d9s, 3 rd d5s, 3 cactus pf600s or 1 cactus 5k? Because those are my options in SS601-1800, that's the only reason I want to trade them. Nobody will trade a rd d9 for a cactus 5k because they are the same amp.

I ran 2 cactus 5ks and did 158.7, and with 2 d9s I hit 158.6.. it could have been voltage or different locations. I did end up getting a 159.1 but I changed the port.

couldnt ya pick up a third 5k and run unlimited? idk how hard they are to find though! good luck with your build man!!

you would need 6 cactus 5ks, to be competitive in unlimited, with the SD 16ks, and OKURS out there. 6 cactus 5ks would need about 5-10 batts per amp, that's 30-60 batts, put that altogether and you have way too much money. Its cheaper to build 600-1800, for me anyways. I know which amps I want to get, I just need cash. That's why I'm selling my 5ks

I'm gonna run 3 cactus pf600s this year, modded for 18volts. I just need to sell at least one of my 5ks, I sold 2 mojo15s. When I sell the 3rd mojo and other amp, I'll use that cash for more batts.
