| ok if the rating on a 3500 watt amp and it says its 1400 @4 on 14.4 volts then that means ur in 601-1800 and u have only one amp and not 3 that u can have ok well the rules state that u take the 4 ohm rating or the max power divided by 4 well if u do that then the amp rating is 875 @4 and allowing u to use 2 of them in 601-1800 in stead of one so what do u go by | |

| They go bye Manufacterer 14.4 @ 4 ohm rating or The math if there isn't a 4ohm rating and then they go with the higher rating.. In order for that amp to be what you said it would have to be rerated on all manuals and boxes and or one sent in to usaci for a usaci 4 ohm rating ...But even in that case the higher would still be the manufacterer rating unless they did indead change the paper work..... Basically easiest route is to have them change all paper work in order for you to use 2.... Hope this helps | |
