A&M has had a great year, and if they bring their A-game, the Cotton Bowl will be ALOT of fun to watch this year.


sidenote: I've been to the Cotton Bowl twice, with LSU's Tiger Band and if anyone is in the area... downtown Dallas is CRAZY the night before. Definitely recommended for some good-hearted cheering and revelry.

To damn bad it isn't the real cotton bowl..... Its jerry world cotton bowl.... LOL but we are happy to be there....

Should be an interesting game, A&M has had a great year compared to previous years. LSU, I cant get past the Tennessee game...they were dismantled by the worst team in the SEC IMO. With that said they took down Bama too, although ebing a bama fan to me it seems like they just flat gave up after the loss to SC so not sure how much of a statement that is.

LSU seems to keep the game close when playing a ranked opponent, most games decided by less than a touchdown win or lose. I doubt this is gonna be any different.

Miles better hope thr appeal to the NCAA works out or no ridley for LSWho

I dont know if any of you have followed LSU this season, but we are definitely deep at RB.

The schedule comparison is not even close. LSU is an SEC school, and no other conference can compete with that. For goodness sake, your biggest win is Nebraska.

You haven't faced a defense near as good as LSU, arguably the best in the nation.

We share only one common opponent, Arkansas, whom we both lost to. Our loss was more of a battle than your loss, but a loss is a loss.

You have three losses, we have two, one of which will be the National champions, regardless of their defiance of the salary cap(which is zero, incase they read this).

You cant say the SEC is anymore loaded than the big 12. Both conferences have 6 teams in them that played well this year.

Both conferences you never know who is gonna win when pitted against each other...SC beating bama, LSU basically losing to UT IMO, florida being a flop this year. its always a toss up when the upper tier SEC plays other upper tier SEC teams, and the same goes for B12. Line up Texas and TAMU every year and regardless who is ranked better or their record coming in, 99% of the time its a good game fueled by rivalry. Id say they are two equally matched conferences in talent and ability, with the SEC having a higher payroll

As to who will win this game, I wouldnt bet on it but Im pulling for the Ag's, regardless who will win im fairly sure it will be a good game to watch.

to be honest i really could care less for either team!! I was just saying the sec isn't the best conference and can back it up with stats(i will say though the sec and BIG TEN are the best two and could hang with one another at anytime) as far as a bet not this game but if you would like to bet on the HOG ROAST thats gonna happen at the sugar bowl i'd be glad to drop something on that game i'll even pay up at the game if need be i'll be in section 108 row 12 seats 1-3. I dont know how you argue them to be best in the nation. They are not top 5 in any category: rushing, passing, total yards, sacks, interceptions, tackles for loss... the best stat they have is 8th in total yards. But they do play ina tougher conference and its a joke A&M is even in the conversation. LSU rolls
