I think this is the best thing to revive the stock classes.

Batt limits should change. In Stock at least 1 batt per amp. So we can stop blowing amps. And in SS 2 batts per amp, again so we can stop blowing amps.

Just make the official anoucement!....ur the boss and we will all start early instead of waiting til march to do this......everyone will know the rules and will have the time to conform to them....we will all still be here

I like that the classes are simple, and that the power classes will be more defined by the battery choice than the amplifier choice.

My beef: The smallest power class is now going to be the "2 RD D5 class", instead of the "1 RD D5 class". To be competitive, you'll need to put down $1000-1500 in amps, $500 in batteries, and $700+ for subs. If a $1500 minimum equipment cost ran off some people last year... a $2500 minimum equipment cost will probably fix the problem.

Not for the short of cash competitors! Lol. But it never was cheep so ....

PF600s' just got cheaper and RD's phone lines just exploded.

I will keep the complaints to a minimum, but my suggestion is to make it 0-1200, 1201-2400 and 2401+ so that every 600w amp that everyone has been using for however long doesn't just have to be scrapped in favor of a D5.

Also, did we lose a battery in Trunk 0-1k?

I still think sb needs multiple alternators just like the rest of the classes. From my experience the people that run sb also run other classes that allow the use of multiple alternators.

Sorry I don't agree....the average consumer cannot afford and extra alt. your getting away from the point of this class. 1 alt is fine. The class is intended for store to seel product, amps and speakers to regular peps so they can enjoy an almost level playing field.

I hate it.....got to sell the amps I just got and get d5s.....

This all looks the same. But sb classes should stay 1 alt. your right rxzilla. Most consumers cant afford 2 alts, thats what sb is made for everyday boomers. I think its fine just like it is.

Stock with unlimited Alts isn't stock at all. AND I just sold my D5

Yup...Stock classes should be one alt also.

Super Stock should be Ulimited, stk doesnt need to be ulimited.

This is correct.

Super Stock should be ulimited because it is 18 volts. Stock is still 14 volts. Keep it within reason. Try to make fun for everyone,and everyone will compete again. It needs to be fun for all.

We all need to bring it back to what it use to be FUN.

It really just needs to stay affordable for the consumer. Once they get hooked, then they can buy more alts and jump into a bigger class.
