doing a sb4 build this winter for a local kid .

really? so you got a forfite and then are gonna run the same truck in the same class? as your quote says, that van wasnt even legal to run sb5. can i cry enough to have won bassbattles sb5?

so whats up? supermod trucks ARE alowed in sb?? you know there is no rule that says sb5 can have mods, but sb4 cant. actually no sb can. what gives?

nope rules are being updated but really not to much of a change .. no super mod at all . and that dash will have to be redone

Got a withdraw because he worked in the 12v industry 3 months before finals and did not wait the full year to run a consumer class. Plus the Van should be the least of anyones worries.

2)kimon built the one and only dash that is in question. (when you built that dash out of glass, it was illegal back then too)
3)yall couldnt get it loud
4)yall sold it to someone who got it loud and beat you.
5) then you complained about the dash. you say you didnt but look at kimons sig. that was his complaint. i asked him why he was scared of a pro and he said it was the dash he was scared of not the builder. that post was deleted or i would quote it.
6)then yall bought the truck back and now claim the dash is legal.
7)now you guys claim a sb5 title with the EXACT SAME TRUCK that you cried about untill its sb4 title was givin to you.

now correct me if im wrong. cause if i am ill say it.

that truck had no buisness is sb at all. not that it mattered. the black explorer would have smashed that class anyway. i just wanna figure out where it ends. can i build a fiberglass port that goes up to the kick panel? or what.

well damn i thought that was all over now that the whole story is out. i guess some people just like drama........

actually i dont like drama. thats why i follow every single rule that there is period.

Ok first I was doing what the van did at finals at 40Hz not 50Hz that was done at finals, so not being able to get it loud is not why we got rid of it. We got rid of it after a conversation with Jennissa and she told me that the dash would not be legal. No I didn't complain about the dash, the other competitors in sb4 did. My complaint was that the person that ran the van had just quit working in the 12v industry 3 months before finals. The only reason that we claimed the Texas SB5 Title was we asked Jennissa at that show if he could run the van, and her response was SB5 only. My sig not only reflects what happened with the dash but also the point that a PRO ran in a consumer class even after Ralph knew about it. The van was traded to Larry for another vehicle. Neither vehicle ever had the titles transferred to the others name, so at finals the van was still in Fred's name. After finals was over Larry seemed to have a change of heart for what he did I guess or was trying to repair his friendship with Fred by withdrawing his entry to finals and making Fred the 2010 SB4 Champ. Larry then also asked if Fred would trade vehicles back, because he did not want to compete anymore, or whatever the reason. As far as crying about the van at finals my issue was with Larry being a pro and running a consumer class. Now please don't get me started on the stories that we were told by Larry. All I will say is that since finals Fred and I have talked with Roger from Crossfire and gotten his side of what took place from his perspective. And now none of us talk to Larry or want to have anything to do with him if that gives you an idea of what took place. Now keep in mind that the Explorer was only .5 away from catching the van, Fred did not realize that, so there is a very good possibility that we could have beat it or at least tied it and had to have a tiebreaker. So with that said I hope that this clears the air about the whole subject and we all can move on to next season.
