PostSubject: My thanks, congrats and retirement.   Thu Oct 21, 2010 10:12 am

Well it been a long year with alot of ups qand downs for me. Its no secret i got kollars old truck. I put all my time and efforts as well as a Dung Pile ton of money into it. Because of circumstances beyond my control I was unable to bring it to finals. I had it built for mod 2000-4000. the best # I saw out of it was a 164.3 and it probably would do a 165ish with new recones. I built my civic last minute with a week and a half before finals to have something to bring so the year wasnt a total loss. i had a 157.7 in the civic but couldnt reproduce that # in the lanes due to the larger globes at finals. I have competed for many years and have gottten 5 championships and multiple top 5 finishes and have built or help build many others. With that being said its time for me to step back from competing and take some time off. I will still be around and probably go to the local shows, I may even set some dash records with this crx im about to get Wink . Ive always been willing to help anyone, whether it be awnsering questions or helping with a build so dont hesitate to ask. Id like to take a moment to thank some people that helped me along the way and to congratulate a few people.

First off I want to thank my family, My wife, son, parnets and brother (Timmy). You guys always encouraged me to do my best and even when ive been down and out never let me quit, I couldnt have done it without you!!

Greg Mccool: Thanks for helping me get started in SPL and giving me a spot on the team, you are a true friend!! (Congrats on the baby boy!!)

James Herren: Thanks for all the advise and knowledge youve givin me over the years, whenever I was stuck you always gave me hope.

Kicker: Thanks for supporting myself and the team over the years we could have never made it this far without you guys, your truley a class act!!

David Moore (PSI): Thanks for the support voer the past 2 years, you always came through for me with what I needed even at the last minute. You have some of the best parts and support in the industry!!

TEAM SWEEP; Thanks to everyone that has helped my over the years in some way, alot of us are more like family than a team and I hope that closeness continues!!

Jimbo; (Why you throw through window?) LOL. Thanks for all the advise on the s-10 this year I wouldnt have gotten it this loud without you man, hopefully ive given you some new ideas on your as well. Congrats on the championship!!

Alan Hall; Thanks for giving me some good comp this year, i thought it was gonna be more of a nail bitter but i think we both had strong #'s for the time we put in. Congrats!!

Team L&C; Congrats on another win and a stupd # for that class!! I dont care what anyone says you guys are class acts in my book, if you ever need anything LMK.

Danny and Chad: You guys played some loud #'s this year and never quit even when everything seemed to work against you. You guys are true competitors, Congrats on the multiple championships this year!!

Im sure theres alot of people im leaving out and if I have I apologize. I will have some of my SPL equipment and a truck for sale soon Wink so if you know of something I have that you want LMK before its gone. Thanks for a great career!!!

Great to hang out with you and tim this last weekend. Really sucks about the globe, it bit us in the ass too! Really wish you would have turned that box around to see what it would do to the score! was really hoping to see ya guy stick with trunk next year, it really made a good class and made some of us want to come back just for the sake of having something to work for!

Haha retirement is definatley gonna suck, but like i said I wanna try for some records so I wont be completely done just not as involved or go to finals. This way I can just let the car sit in the garage and work on it when I have time instead of working towards finals etc. and take time away from the family. Im sure Ill have a hand in a few cars like I always do, like I said Im always willing to help those that want my help.

Tbone,
It was a pleasure having you on the team. Then even more turning the team over to you. Enjoy your retirement it's deserved.
