AMP QUESTION

What's the official ruling on amp if there were only 50 made?? I was told at finals that should be in an unlimited class??

I would like to add that ralph himself said that any amplifer that is not commercially available which would be amps that only 50 were made. He then proceeded to go against what he just said.

Thats the problem. Everyone was told a different number and the owner wouldn't send the amp in to get tested because he told ralph it wouldn't pass the 600 limit. Some were told 1100 rms @ 4 and others were told 800-900 @ 4.

Doesn't matter what the rating is on the amp..fact is that me and you both heard Ralph himself say the official ruling would be in an unlimited class and he let them slide in 601-1800

Exactly. In his position he can't say one thing to competitors then enforce the complete opposite.

Going by this rule the Addictive Audio 500.1 should not be allowed in any 0-600 or 601-1800 if the owner has two. Regardless of whether the amp should be put in unlimited (which is should be) it still needs to have the correct amp ratings.

How hard is that to understand....another example of bending the rules once again

your guess is as good as mine.

So.. Whats the percentage an amp can be over the rateing to remain in a certain class ? I believe there is one, but can't remember.

As for the other amp. Unlimited would be where it shouldbe, as with a certain dd amp if you ask me.

YUP used to be 30% but moved to 20% three years ago was word on the street but in writing i think it still says 30%

Regardless it wouldn't pass that 600 @4 at 14.4 v because it was 600 at 10.? volts... soooooooo i would say 900 at 14.4 . It basically looked like a D9 if ya ask me ..

anyway with the whole 50 made thing YES it should have been unlimited per Usaci's own rules . Soooooooo wonder if ralph would move it to unlimited if he knew who was making the boards? I bet he would chit!!!!!!! 50 made wtf that was your RED FRKING FLAG THERE.. Reason im pissed is cause tank , alen and a few others i told dont get them man he aint gonna let them fly!!! When they actually should have purchased the damn things.... Sorry guys thats my bad i took the man for his word and i should not have done that in this case..... I spent at least 4 hours on the phone with several different ppl on this amp to see if you guys would be alright using them and i was told no ummmmmmm no shiiit on 50 made No So to be ethical i told alen DONT DO IT.... man i shoulda just said go for it everyone else is gonna get away with it....

And with that im a lil PISSSSED over all this fknbs

I was just asking in general,I agree on the other amp in question. Limited edition any amp should be unlimited if you ask me. But who am I really.
