As usual, Sanman, you're correct. I got it from Darren Patterson, 2006 0-600 world champ. Prior to that, it was in Nebraska, I think, but forgot who Darren told me owned it.

Poundstone--I feel your pain. I have been in that situation MANY times--broke when good stuff comes available, and when I gotta pocket full of cash, there's nothing I want for sale.

The price is not negotiable. We have over $6k invested in the virtually new drivetrain, as well as all of the other new parts that are listed in the original post. All this car needs is a new paint job, and it would be brand spankin new. Everything's been changed.

There's nothing to worry about with this car. Get in, and drive off, worry-free. Every 2 weeks I drive it nonstop to Galveston from my house, which is almost 400 miles.

Oh, did I mention it gets over 40 MPGs?

if that s-10 doesn't overheat, and you wouldn't have qualms with driving it 400 miles one way (is reliable) then that's what I'm looking for.

I have been using it for my daly driver sence finals. While my car got rebuilt. I work in Aspin. 80 miles one way.

It is not all new under the hood like the crx. But I have driven it to Denver and back there is some steep mountian passes ! 10,000 + feet high climbs with 6% grades. That is a over heat test to the extreme. Lol

I recently listed a house for sale for $95k...it appraised for $127k. People are offering me $80 for it and lower...ummm...the price is 95! I'm not a haggler. If I want to buy your subs from you and you're asking $500 each for them, then that's the price I expect to pay. The price on my house is $95k, the price on this car is $3k. Just pretend you're shopping at walmart. That gallon of milk has a price tag of $3.58 on it. Don't bring it to the register and give the cashier $3.15...you won't be going home with any milk.
