Is there a math equation that will tell u what box an port to use an hit it on the money . I'm being told by arspl guys that's what u do all that port an box testing is a big wast of time I am confused . Pleas help ?

is the math ,,distance from center of box to mic then center of back wall of box to mic, then center of port to mic. ,, then divide by speed of sound,,, , if so it dont work ,

Thay say thay have a computer program or some Dung Pile thay put all info in an it comes out to a box an u put in car an your done. thay wanted a formula for round ports thay said its no way a round port is louder than a slot port if both boxes r same. Why do all that testing when the computer tells u what to do . I don't know what the hell.

there are programs that will give you a starting point but no computer program can account for all the variables there are in every different setup with what amps you are running to what vehicle to what speakers so like they all said test, test, test and test some more i program will give you basic starting dimensions and an idea but there is alot more to gain by testing!!

you dont thats the point you can punch some numbers in and it willl spit out some dimensions to build to but until it is in the vehicle you wont know if its right like i found out in mine that im actually tuned about 3 hz under where i planned it because of the spacing between my ports and my back hatch thats just something a computer isnt gonna tell ya!
