| Power is actually pretty cheap in Shreveport. The Swepco plant is about 1/2 mi from the convention center. That's alot of convenience fees.
Gentlemen, bring your flatscreens, hairdryers, microwaves, and flux capacitors. Gotta get your monies worth!

I could never answer this question before because I wasn't involved from beginning to end but I can this time. The fees for the Convention center, hotel, advertising and such are way over $20,000. No your entry fees will not cover the total bill to put on Finals. The Electricity is paid directly to the Convention Center and you will go to THEIR booth and pay then they will hook you up. Ralph gets no monies from that what so ever or the hotel. Would be nice if we did though |

| I did ask that however during our meeting with them cause I didn't know any better. They all looked at me and said "that is another department." Put me in my place...lol |

| It's in the same facility. Parking lot is connected by an enclosed walkway 15 ft above the road. | |

| On a side note, I wonder how many complaints we'll get for Rowland, Kumar, Danny, etc. bangin out 160s so close to the hotel. I'm envisioning every resident gets a vibrating wakeup call. The huge kitchen gets 1000 broken glasses and plates. Ceiling tiles coming down. Rich people's champagne exploding in their suites. Anything like that ever happened in past years? | |

| LOL no not that I am aware of. We are in a Convention Center and the walls are pretty thick, but that would be pretty interesting if that did happen.
See you guys at FINALS |

| There are typically amperage limits for each socket. If you share with too many guys you will not receive the full charging that you paid good money for. Just food for thought. I've shared power in the past. If you look over the electrical layout of the hall you will see the amperage ratings for the sockets.
The prices are stupid but that's just one of the ways the convention center makes a profit and keeps the doors open. Last year we all got tags for our extension cords. If you did'nt have a tag you got unplugged.
