| Ok i ddnt have tha time to build a wall in my trailblazer. So i built tha box just big enough to slide in with door and seats tooken out i have bout 4" on 3 sides of open area. Now tha problem is it some how sounds loud when tha back hatch is open. Could tha reason be that its open on tha sides? I want to put a face with 1/2 mdf but dnt know if it would make it WORSE.. ANY HELP THANKS!!!! | |

| anything can work.... test without it, test with it....
do whatever is best for you...
same thing happens with some trunk cars.... if you point the box forward... you may be louder with the trunk lid open.... just have to test it.... | |

| hmm interesting problem ... it was the exact opposite with my cherrokee and even sealed the port off with it... i guess its different with boxes cars etc | |

| i had a box like that in my truck and was louder without the face on it.. I would scoot it back off the wall and it would be louder.. put face on it and dropped a db | |

| I know a guy that has a 95 Cadi with 1 DC level5 18 and the guy does a 156 on the TL with the box facing forward but it is totally sealed off from the truck. All the waves are firing forward. IN THE TRUNK! | |
