| Does anyone know if the globe will fit inside 8" pvc? This is a serious question so please no flaming. Also this isn't for my truck or any build that someone would be worried about on here. Just something I'm experimenting with. | |

| No sire the diameter of the globe i believe is 8 3/4 ill look tonight and let ya know you would need 10"pvc cause thats 8" on outside and you need a mininm of 9" on the inside opening if that makes since so at least a 10" i would guess for the globe to SLIDE RIGHT IN....OHHHHHHHHHHHH oops sorry got excited for a min... | |

| I have a 8" opening on my port wars box most globes fit on if you angle the globe so the outside ring is at a compound angle it makes it in! Some globes are a little bigger and they scratch the port but I have got all the usaci globes in. I used 8" pvc as a form for the port so the 8 " is what I ended up with. No it wont fit in 8" pvc! Lol

Kind of like an 8" sono tube? I might be able to make the diameter a little bigger than 8" using glass. The globe needs to drop in pretty far but I'll be able to stick my hand down and grab it. | |
