have you guys ever mentioned a class for sedans? you know your regular joe blow that has a car with a trunk and a spare tire thats a daily driver that cant spend thousands of $ on an audio-car....... i believe that by exposing the majority to better products and superior design concepts, it would help bring back that "mom and pop" shop that actually made this industry what it is today..... 90% of the cars i see with systems don't compete because they are afraid to have to follow million watt SUV or a super subcompact that system weighs more than the car........ it may also help some of us installers get those mainstream customers to think outside the BOX

i think that is why the came up with streetbeat classes but if u talking just straight spl i would say yea cause i think its hard as hell to go up against some one with a crx or such

that was last year sb classes but i think this year will prove to be more challegening, although kenny says oh and so does mikel7 both claim to be doing over 150 in streetbeat. i don't really have my doubts about kenny hell the guy has about 16000 watts on 4 solo x's in a crx so it maybe possiable but like all i have to be there to believe it for see it on video lol with music and lyrics

i am not saying that it can't be done i am the kind of person that u have to prove wrong first.

they made it where those cds arent allowed now.......but if you do your homework and test cds to find out what songs work best in your vehicle then you shouldnt have much a problem

no we can't have bass cds anymore in streetbeat, it has be straight music with lyrics and the cd must be copyrighted and bought out of a store. hell u guys know what i mean lol

true its not far for all the guys if someone pulls up in a crx with 4 10's and u have 2 12's in the trunk with about the same power as the guy with the crx and he gets louder than you. i'm not hatin or anything just kinda wish in streetbeat they had a split class with sedans and crx's when there are 6 or more crx's at a show hell especially if kenny is there

The CRX's will still have an advantage in the lower classes, imo.

I never got to use the banned cds for streetbeat run, however with a "normal" cd I streetbeated a best of 152 with 2 L7 10's and a kicker zx2500.

This was in a regular cab s-10 as well. Too bad thats 5 dB behind the SB1 winner from last year. Sad

Hopefully things will change this year, but CRX's will have an advantage if they can find the right music to play.
