First topic message reminder :

i have a 2000 4 door blazer i am wanting every body's opinion on the best way to set it up (port & sub up, both back ,sub up port back,etc.) im new and haven't got a term lab yet so im kinda in the dark on witch is the best. any advise is appreciated

im running streetbeat and it is a daily driver

I can vouge for this box. It was with 2 trf 15's and 1 30001bd @ 1.4 nominal. Did a 150.x in the kick @ 40hz

yep the 4 doors are differnt i have a 2 door and i have a buddy that has a 4 door and we have had better luck with sub up port back, 1 15 doing high 40s, he had 2 15s and like 900 clamped power and could not get a 50

i currently have a re mt 18 but i am in the process of coning 2 15s

how much power u gana run. i know that when we put the box all the way on the back floor (box was raised due to amp rack under sub box ) it gained like 2.5 db

so have u clamped that bish to see what its really putting to that 18 what coils does it have now heck if ur impedace rise is high u could lower the ohm laod on the sub and get loader and push more power

box wise for u man, if you can afford it, build two test boxes, ported, one port up subs up, one subs up and port back. then test both, u'll find what is better pretty fast. then, after you find the better one, build a final box and do it up right and do all the right things to it.

alt wise. Check out dcpower. Great alts, only alts i let in my car. Ohio gen, mechman, powermaster/xs are good even though mechman and them are the same. but all good alts.

The box I have now is port and sub up I had them back did a 44 at finals faced it all up and did a 46 yesterday I have decided to build a wall behind the back seat and go w 2 15s
