| | I think thats good what your dealing with. Some people use Focal Audison Genesis and others. Just work with what you got and make sure you have great speaker placement and read that damn rule book...lol Good luck |

| Our cars that we build use Audison amps, Focal amps, focal speakers, alpine decks. Like the others said, it's about the placement and following the rule book to the letter. _________________ Mike Schwitz Stay Tuned Audio 262-542-8863 Team MMATS Team Ultra Subs Team SRS Also an "Insider" myspace.com/schwitzsplfamily Upper Midwest Comitee Rep (WI, MI, MN) 262-707-7570 (cell) |

How do u like the Hertz speakers? _________________ Kumar Infiniti Competition Broken Silence C.C. 2008 Mod 1001-2000 2007 World Finals Mod 0-1000 162 2006 World Finals Mod 0-300 158.2

| Last year, MB Quart QSDs and Eclipse subs. This year the QSDs and JL subs. Sounds like we have something in common
I really like the sound of the Focals but I'll hold onto the Quarts for now. Like everyone has stated it's alot to do with placement and I feel you can make almost anything sound really good with the proper processing. _________________ John Roberts

I agree 110%. I really like my Jl w6 subs, to be honest the way I am set up I barley here them. Dont get me wrong if I unplugged them I would miss them. The Pxa h701 is nice, I had to go with a touch screen iva d105 because its user friendly. The dva 9861 with processor for me A little difficult. I would highly recommend the rux even if only used to set up system and not a part of install _________________ TEAM S.P.E.A.D. 1999 GMC YUKON /////Alpine Focal Audison JL 220 amp Stinger Alternator and wiring 2 Stinger 1500 batteries

| Well...if what you say is true and your familiar with the rule book and issues concerning speaker placement, etc then I would say that most (at least that posted here) seems like there using Focal or Quartz speakers and Audison and Focal amps. But in my humble opinion I would say dont spend the extra money and work with what you have...however if you just have to spend the money I would say get some Audison vrx amps and Focal B's or at leat the Utopias G-d bless. |

| We're using Focal Be front stage, Focal K2 sub, and STEG K series amps.
It's all in personal preference.
If you don't know yet which speakers are good for what, then I'd suggest sticking with what you have for now and working on placement. Learn with what you have now. Give it some time and start to learn about what's out there. When you get ready to upgrade, you'll have a better idea about what's going to fit YOUR needs, not what fits everyone elses needs better than yours. _________________ Jan Bennett
