I will be there for this show, looking forward to compete STREET Q at this show so I can get my SQ points for finals since I already have my SPL points

Wish I could go the other way round.

I have my SQ points, but would love to see if I could get some SPL points. Problem is all Focal equipment and Convertible to boot. Good luck at this show guys!

Well I used to compete in IASCA alot back in the day so I grew up with SQ my problem is out here on the left coast is there have been no SQ shows only SPL so to see SQ possibly making a return is great for me (I am one of the few who bow to both gods SQ & SPL, who says you can't have a wall with 16 10's AND 5.1 surround in the same system, lol). I would have gone to the February show but the subs are out just picked up 16 new ones and still havent installed the new amps yet either but the car will be finished first week of April just in time for the show. Truth ne told that was the first Arizona show I have missed in 2 years

Now, i jus gotta find 1 BIG amp and sell/trade my 2 zx"s scratch

Yep, switching to the p2's and picked up 2 more Kicker XS100's so I'll have 4 amps on the bass should be loud hoping for a 53 in Street Beat. The bad thing is I'll be at 400 watts but since I have 4 amps I will be bumped up to Mod 1001-2000, definately getting my arse handed to me at finals. Way back in the day I had a freind with a Toyota pick-up with a snug and we did 2 Cerwin Vega 15's through the back winow (we called it the shot gun cause from the front of the truch it looked like the barrels of a shotgun) that thing was stupid loud, we powered with 2 Alphasonic 2150's (1 to each sub). You will definately like the sound firing through the back window

We need a local shop to sponsor this gig if possible. Help get fliers out, etc. We need more cars than last time. Expensive to drive 24 hours to a show. We need cars!

I feel your pain Ralph, its expensive to drive 7 hours to the show, lol. Anyway I hope this show will be better for you, hey since you guys have to come out so far why not bring out the outlaw record meter... hey I can always dream can't I, lol.

I called The Specialist on wetmore rd., they said they weren't interested in having any competitions

Manager was very short with me Mad

Last month i spoke in person to the manager of CAR R US, and he said he will be hosting a competition sometime this month at his shop. 300 cars are set to compete affraid

damn that sucks. lol just found out dts is gone too. only reason i recommended them is a guy at our shop used to work there and he said they have a few sq builds that are top notch. oh well i guess

Amazing with all the Sq out there we cannot get a shop to come out ot a major event for pennies. Must be doing some serious business.

Yeah i don't know what's up with the shops around here confused

This is Tucson's 2nd MAJOR USACI event this year and i can't belive no shops are steppin up to sponsor!!! It's one week away cheers

We are going to be there, no shop sponsors but the show must go on! DIBM stands for Do It Big Motorsports. The event is USACI, Car Show, Drag Racing, Drifting, Flat Track, and a whole lot more.

Oh yea I'll be there. Went by the shop yesterday to check on the progress of the car and it was able to play man that thing hurt me I'm feeling a 152+, they just had to button her up so I will be picking it up later today which gives me 2 days to tune and clean the inside (for Street Q) then heading down on Saturday after work

Cool, looking forward to the videos. You know how I am anytime you see me just ask and I'll give ya a demo, hope it impressed. Plus I didnt really get a chance to check out much of the show so it'll be cool to see what was there. Tom, on a side note- The fornicating planet audio smoked out and fried on me after only 3 weeks, Stereo Pad swapped it out for another ap3000d NO QUESTIONS ASKED (STEREO PAD-YOU ROCK!!!) and 2 weeks later that mofo smoked out... I got credit for it and bought a 2010 zx1500 KICKER (LIVIN' LOUD AGAIN BAY BEE!!!) rated at 1652 watts on the birthsheet. SOO, Back in the game with TWO zx1500 KICKERS. I kno i kno, i learned my lesson with planet. Stereo Pad owner said he's gunna drop that particular model (or brand,i can't remember) after these 2 incidents with me.

Sorry to hear about the amps smoking out I have heard really good things about the Planet Audio product but kudos to Stereo Pad for hooking you up and supporting the customer. Soo Kicker, huh, I've heard of that company, lol., I'm sure you will get them to last 12 years just like my XS100's, I'm guessing you are already louder just with the amp swap.

OH YEAH, big difference. I am toying around with putting the box face up in the back of the snug to get better roll off... need more dynamat tho.
