I think this should be rephrased..
Outlaw SPL - Any and all amplifiers being used to drive subwoofer systems under test will be included in the systems total power. Amplifiers being used to drive mid/high range speakers (IE 6x9, 5x7, 4x6, 5 1/4", 6 1/2", tweeters, etc...) will be excluded. The source unit power rating will also be excluded provided it is not directly driving a subwoofer. If a USACi judge is unable to determine whether an amp is being used to power subwoofers or mid range speakers, the amp will be removed from the vehicle or added to the systems total power._________________ Team Act Audio2010 Season:Stock 0-600 - 152.3 dB 2009 Season:Stock 0-600 - 151.1 dB (region 4 '09 record) Street Beat 2 - 150.7 dB (region 4 '09 record) 2008 Season:Stock 0-600 - 147.8 dB http://www.actaudio.net/teamaa.asp"I reject your reality and substitute my own ..." |

Hmmm.... well is an 8" driver considered a subwoofer or mid/high speaker? Easy solution would be to add something to the end of the terms like:
"The head judge of the show in which the system is being tested has the authority to place any speaker into the 'subwoofer' category, this decision is final (example, a car utilizes an 8" driver which is contested as being a subwoofer, the head judge has discretion to call that speaker a subwoofer or a midrange driver.)"_________________ Team Act Audio2010 Season:Stock 0-600 - 152.3 dB 2009 Season:Stock 0-600 - 151.1 dB (region 4 '09 record) Street Beat 2 - 150.7 dB (region 4 '09 record) 2008 Season:Stock 0-600 - 147.8 dB http://www.actaudio.net/teamaa.asp"I reject your reality and substitute my own ..." |
