First topic message reminder :

ok this is meant to be positive ..i spoke to a few judges at finals , we have said we dont have a maeting at finals , well even if we did what good would it do at finals , how about each region or state or whatever , has a meeting , list it as or at a show , or have directors/judges contact shops or teams and have a lunch with some of us soon to get things done asap foe this season .
example; NOT starting anything but with my suggestion that i think most have read ......... we liked the time slots , show went faster , if on saturday you know you are having problems and your five minutes to fix cant do it you must run before end of show on saturday , if not im sorry but you do have all year.
sundays reruns must have run on saturday first. There will always be what ifs and break downs, so a weak or so before finals pick a few competitors that every one says yes to, i trust so and so and if the unexpected comes up its up to the chosen to decide not a judge or ralph as they are already busy enough , they dont need to be put on the spot. i am sure it is hard to make a on the spot decision , so lets help out . What you think? more ideas please.

FIRST - LET ME SAY JIMBO YOU &$*# WOMEN DO NOT SUCK, well we might but....I am female and gonna kick your wooohoo for that.

SECOND - I like the idea put up number on Sat to re-run Sun and agree 100% even if it is a 110.0; then work on it for the Sun re-run.

I feel this would be very fair to all competitors.

THIRD - I also agree about the competitor meeting and talked alot about it at Finals. The problem is "Will they come?" We might try to have it next year and those that come fine and those that don't well don't "Female dog"!

FOURTH - I also like the fact that if there is a "Shit Happens" to have a panel to rule either YES or NO on it.

I like that FINALLY you all are letting USACi know what you want and don't want. I think that if you all continue to do this in a proper manner instead of a negative manner you will be heard!

totally agree on the don't run on saturday, no run on sunday rule that is awesome an i think i will keep alot of b/s down an alot of competitors happy.
i like the competitor meeting that is something that i would look forward to setting down an talking face to face an not all the typing an b/s on the forums, don't get me wrong the forums are nice an such but me personally i like the face to face talks better.

members meetings would definitly be the way to go. Rules are rules nd need to be upheld, someone will always cry about something. If usaci intends on growing you will have to make rules and stick with them. There will always be gray areas that will lead to arguements no matter what, but items such as run sat. or don't run sunday can be handled and written in stone. time slots can be set in stone.(great job this year by the way). points set in stone. These are things usaci needs to be firm with, if not people will get upset and "Female dog" and this may turn new competitors away. I little thought for mind...... if you don't play by the rules your a cheater.

i believe and this might have been said already people break down and things fail... it has happened to me many of times.....
if u can atleast get your car in the lanes and put up a zero as your score at least you ran .. and that would give you the option to re run on sunday

I would like to get the competitor committee involved in USACi again. The "committee section" is still activated on the forum. Do any of you that are already appointed want to jump in and start pooling ideas together?

BTW...I really appreciate the loaning of tools and other support that you guys over in the SPL lanes gave me at finals this year.

I would be willing to come back into it and even spearhead if need be.

Funny thing happened Saturday at finals. A newbie came up to Jeff's truck and said "Did I do something wrong?" I looked at him and asked him why he thought that. He said he was ready for finals 2 weeks before and was wondering if he was supposed to wait to build at finals.

Now staying on topic ... I agree with run Saturday even if it is just to get a number. At least everyone sees you are there.

I agree with a "shit happens" committee, perhaps 1 rep from each of the major teams? That way everyone knows someone is not just trying to show up late.

i liked the time slots too. The guy ahead of me was 2hrs late and the judges made him pay for a rerun because he was late

yep i liked the time slot as well hell i drove my car up and had problems on the way up there been fine all season then had to break down then, also if u dont run sat then no run sun i like that,make ur s*** break down in the lane not at ur stall burben all day long to find out u got stuff rong. i mean there was alot of people there and alot of people were saying thats loud lets go over here and look at this one its open and we can acually look at it
