Ok so I have a 97 sunfire....subs and port toward trunk. Slot ported box tuned to about 34 hz. I have 2 dvc cvx 12's 2 ohm running off a pa 2000 watt mono amp. One layer of dynomat in trunk, trunk lid and back deck. 5900 Pioneer deck, 6X9 rear deck and 4X6 in the door. Stock alt. This is a daily driver. Want to get mid to high 140's and still sound somewhat good on music. Any suggestions are welcome!

try subs up ports to the drive side

THe vloume knob clockwise....lol, jk....my guess would be tune a little higher.

If I point the subs up I heard the subs dont last as long? I dont have the money for recones right now if I did that. Yes I know dont believe everything you hear. Thanks everyone for your help!

Subs up port back, subs up port up, the dyna mat in the trunk may be hurting you some. Our saturn lost alot when we did the trunk. Figured out why much too late to take it off now.

keep the cvx's.........what amp is the pa 2000? come to the beat off on may 31st i get ya a box design for you to try and build to put in there.........

it is a gothic series mono (its all I could afford)Ok cool ill be there! Ill be in the lil crappy black sunfire with the spoiler and swat banner on the winshield.

some audio installer here in omaha.....I asked him if i could put subs up and port back and he said the sub would blow within a year.
