I hope so. The last build I did was while I was in Germany and I did about half the work on an Extreme 2 car for dB Drag. It hit a 174.6 and was improving.
Now I am just doing this for fun, but I am competitive so it has to be right too LOL. |

| To add one more thing. My plan is to use a slot port that is the entire width of the enclosure so it would be 48wide x 3" deep x 10.75 long to give me a tuning of 35Hz, does that sounds correct after factoring in end factor? |

| OK guys, I have two sheets of birch ply and six 4 foot wooden 1.25'' dowels sitting here waiting to be cut. Any input/comments/suggestions would be good now LOL |

| Well, this sucks. Put the enclosure in and in my infinite wisdom, my seats sit right in front of 1/3 of the port esentially sealing it off. Anyone want a wall 10 cubes NET tuned to 35Hz? LOL Time to rethink my strategy...might have to use more and smaller subs to get the port firing up! |

I'm gonna have the stock seats redone, so that's gonna happen then. Good idea! |

| Well, ended up selling the AQ 18's and bought 10 10's. Here's the enclosure. I went to the Shades event and did a 147.6 with track #11 on the dB Drag DB Jams volume 9 CD which was a 40Hz down to 30Hz sweep. My CD player skipped at any tones higher than 40Hz and I had my crossover set to 63Hz lowpass at 24dB/Octave slope...wish I would have remembered to change that! I think the setup has some potential. |

| I have a 1996 silverado ext cab with the backseat taken out and my subs and port are faced down at a slight angle so the sound waves roll off the floor. i have tried subs/ports faced forward and both faced up(with adjustable ports) my recent set up sounds best personally. I compete in mod 1001-2000 and sb3. Hope this helps. _________________ 2009 Az State Champ Sb3 143.6 Db on 8/9/09 2009 Az State Champ Mod 1001-2000 145.7 Db on 8/9/09 1X World Finals Invite
