USACI announced today that the 2008 USACI World Finals and Tuner Jam will be re-locating to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas. Every effort is being made to keep the current dates. Event specifics including hotels will be updated frequently over the next week. Despite incredible efforts and input on behalf of the Omaha retailers and USACI, there were obstacles to the event in the Omaha market that could not be overcome.

USACI would like to thank Stereo West, Inphase Audio, Nebraska Furniture Mart, and Metro Audio for all their efforts. "While we at USACI are disappointed to be making a change so late in the season we welcome the opportunity to take USACI Finals back to Texas and develop a new venue" stated Ralph Randall, USACI's president. "We also have several forthcoming announcements coming about our new finals sponsors and the plans for our new venue!" he continued. These announcements can be expected over the next 5-7 days.

USACI has a very strong support base in the mid-south region that includes Texas and the move will undoubtedly increase not only competitor attendance but spectator turnout as well. Several manufacturers have already committed to support the event and we expect several more in the next two weeks. www.usaciworldfinals.com will be updated as contracts are secured. Magoo Really that i understand the late change is kinda crzy .... I just think alot are going to be a its too far thing. But yes i agree with the change last minute is not right.

Hope everyone can figure it out one way or another it should be an awsome event. And im guessing we will have a later date to top all this off but would kind of be nice right now to do DEC and give ppl more time to make up for the relocation. IMO

I also meant to say I STILL LOVE YA MAN... We all know it was my other personality that went off. When i heard about the move first thing i thought was ppl up north so used to it being there would be a culture shock to them to move it.. I was like OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LAWD im not even gonna get on the forum and look...LOL


Also if i can do anything to help get swat and sweep here let me know .. Hell we will get a donation going or some Dung Pile lets make this happen.

Well, I won't be there. I own a small shop, and I refuse to close it down for another two days. I think it's asinine to change the venue this close to finals. Have fun.

So what bout this now that its going 2 b down south let's move cut off date 2 nov and allow people down n other areas get quallified that wasn't going 2 make the drive and move finals 2 1st week in january so everyone won't be strained thru the holidays and more people can come and us in the north can round up more cash then noone will have an excuse and could then possibly b the largest show ever it also gives usaci plenty of time 2 advertise could be great for the sponsers aswell

I actually hope dates stay in November, because Dec/Jan end of semester at colleges, which is my busy time for work.

If it's on a different date, I will make that drive..

dates is all we need....and we need them fast..thanx ralph for the fast update...but lets get dates asap...people have takin work and school off so we need to know so we can change these dates and times

Im sorry to make this post but i cant stand it anymore .This is to the ones i look up to and they know who they are . I think its pretty bad when yall push us to do better and said stay with it you will get there just takes time i did . You asked me and my teamate to come to finals even though we had no chance in winning and we still did for your support and for us to learn and meet new people .We look up to yall and some are not even coming this year over mileage .I drove 700 somthing miles last year to make it and would have done it agin this year and if i wouldnt have meet yall i would have never probably stayed with it so what im saying is it would appreciate yall to do what i expected yall to do when i first came to yall.THis is what yall said somtimes you got to do what you got to do . Im not seeing this right now so what im saying is how do i look up to some people that wont do what they told me to do.I will drive anywhere in this country to support my team and the orginazation. Sorry bout this but this goes out to the big dogs that we look up to in this sport hopefully you will make the right decison on this.

I agree on getting dates fast , so people can make plans with work.
