USACI announced today that the 2008 USACI World Finals and Tuner Jam will be re-locating to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas. Every effort is being made to keep the current dates. Event specifics including hotels will be updated frequently over the next week. Despite incredible efforts and input on behalf of the Omaha retailers and USACI, there were obstacles to the event in the Omaha market that could not be overcome.

USACI would like to thank Stereo West, Inphase Audio, Nebraska Furniture Mart, and Metro Audio for all their efforts. "While we at USACI are disappointed to be making a change so late in the season we welcome the opportunity to take USACI Finals back to Texas and develop a new venue" stated Ralph Randall, USACI's president. "We also have several forthcoming announcements coming about our new finals sponsors and the plans for our new venue!" he continued. These announcements can be expected over the next 5-7 days.

USACI has a very strong support base in the mid-south region that includes Texas and the move will undoubtedly increase not only competitor attendance but spectator turnout as well. Several manufacturers have already committed to support the event and we expect several more in the next two weeks. www.usaciworldfinals.com will be updated as contracts are secured. I'll be there for Ultra in the booth. Might have something with me to run. Still trying to figure out which car can make it that far and back with the least likelyhood of problems. Looking into my teams transport company. If anyone else from WI or close to it wants to pitch in on the gas for the trailor let me know. I was told we can fit four cars at least.

Ya know alot of you guys are gonna pisss me off with this i can ALREADY TELL... Ohhhhh well for the last 12 F U C K I N G YEARS.... Ya hear ME.. 12 i and about 30 other world finals compeditors drive from Texas to up north anywhere from 12 to 21 hours depending on where in Texas you live...Now we all made the drive STFU and make it.... BUNCH O F U C K I N G HYPOCRITS

Can u help me and my team cum up with like 1200 bucks each since we were not planning on traveling with all do respect we only have like 5 weeks 2 get that kind of money not o whole year its not the drive distance again its the timeline of the change atleast 4 the swat team but we will still try we just may be down a few cars or 10 lol jimbo I mean no disrespect 2 u or ur post I have a lot of respect 4 u just letting it b known that it is not being a hypocrit its being broke lol

agreed the late minute change no matter what reason it was for is whats causing the crunch me and angie will be there with some of the rest of team SWAT, but we are now brining 1 car instead of 2

Cool this means I could just come Sunday cause it is so close. That way you all don't have to hear my megaphone for 3 full days.

P.S. All you people that called me and asked what was going on, I didn't want to tell you till we had all the details worked out. I also thought it was Ralph's place to tell you too, that way it came from the HBGIC.

I knew this wuld happen. Just step up and make the drive and stop crying. We have done it for years now.

Magoo Really that i understand the late change is kinda crzy .... I just think alot are going to be a its too far thing. But yes i agree with the change last minute is not right.

Hope everyone can figure it out one way or another it should be an awsome event. And im guessing we will have a later date to top all this off but would kind of be nice right now to do DEC and give ppl more time to make up for the relocation. IMO

I also meant to say I STILL LOVE YA MAN... We all know it was my other personality that went off. When i heard about the move first thing i thought was ppl up north so used to it being there would be a culture shock to them to move it.. I was like OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LAWD im not even gonna get on the forum and look...LOL


Also if i can do anything to help get swat and sweep here let me know .. Hell we will get a donation going or some Dung Pile lets make this happen.

Well, I won't be there. I own a small shop, and I refuse to close it down for another two days. I think it's asinine to change the venue this close to finals. Have fun.

So what bout this now that its going 2 b down south let's move cut off date 2 nov and allow people down n other areas get quallified that wasn't going 2 make the drive and move finals 2 1st week in january so everyone won't be strained thru the holidays and more people can come and us in the north can round up more cash then noone will have an excuse and could then possibly b the largest show ever it also gives usaci plenty of time 2 advertise could be great for the sponsers aswell
