| I am a nobody but Chris is right about the way DD is about spl comps. I run m3's but in mod 1001-2000 haha

| Well....misleading. I read that the amp was posted with a higher rating, then they changed it to be at 600@4 ohms. That is misleading. I am not going to question that company, but they may need to change how they rate amps because they have been underrating amps and they get by at finals and then the next year do not pass.

| Anybody who thinks DD doesn't care about winning competitions is naive.
Yeah, Steve will say he doesn't care about competitions, in fact him and I had this conversation a few months ago and I told him the moment DD stops building equipment for the lanes is the moment they lose business.
DD's reputation as dominate equipment is due to what?, yeeup, competitions, and the minute DD stops settin world records and winning world titles, the value of their equipment will decrease. Steve is a smart guy, he knows this to be true.
The only reason people are paying 3g's for a Z is why?, exactly.
DD's more expensive than comparable equipment, yet people pay the extra cash for DD's because they know their reputation as being a world record setting company.
DD rates their amps as though they're SQ amps, this means lower THD's and in turn means lower ratings that may seem to be modest in the SPL world. On the same token, rating an amplifier this way gives advantages to those of us who use these amps for competing, to think that is not noticed by DD is pretty silly.
OPEN UP THE CLASSES, RATE AMPS BY THEIR HIGHEST PUBLISHED RATING, AND BE DONE WITH IT.

| ill agree with jimbo on this and dont care what is said after this just cause its dd and they are reputable it is there 4th amp in 5 years so no matter what they are out to do they have set themselves int he same catagory as atomic, and american bass in some situations wich them other 2 companies got put into unlimited so the same should go for dd as well.
I have said it many times just cause your this guy or that guy or this company or that one and well known doesnt excuse you at all.
I know Samsel wont like that but i do see it Jimbo's way this time.

| Strike three....your out on the Unlimited list. Ok....how can we trust this company or how this company test amps? They have been underrated and have been caught for the last four years. Titles,world records,sponsorships and so much more have gone thru these amps. Are these legit? If the amp was rated correct at 750 before 2007 world finals, there may or may not have been diffrent results. This is not a personal attack on anyone who used these amps. If you ran them I'll give you the benifitof dougt of not knowing. What I am saying it that they, along with other amps, have been know for pushing the grey area of the rule book, four times now. My vote goes to unlimited.
