ok, I just logged on for the first time today and see this. Ok I dont name names but one of the guys talking smack about me, is the person who said that the "new" d5 was gonna be more powerful than the "old" D9. Maybe they were confussing the new D13, but he said the D5. So, I never said they were cheater amps, if you can afford them then get them. RD did GREAT at finals, and when I get some cash I will buy me some RD amps. Just repeating what I was told at finals by someone running RD amps. To wait for the new D5s, thats all. Any more questions? If its not true, then my mistake. But if it is true and your trying to cover for your RD, then go fornicate yourself. You can type what you please, but only you and RD know the truth. I have seen both the D5 and D9 and I can see that they dont fit into eachothers case, but that doesnt mean that the new amps coming out cant be made to a certain size. Look at the matts 4000 watt amp, it fits in one hand. Then look at the memphis 4k, like 2 feet long. Smaller companies will cater to a certain group of people if asked nicely. I dont see anyone saying anything about the matts amp in question either. If one company can do it, why not another company. Sanman you take things to personally, unless you are "RD", then you dont know what they say to someone else behind closed doors. They are small enough to do what they please. That is my opinion, if you dont like it thats fine. Im not trying to start fist fights, just stating opinions and repeating what I was told from someone running RD.

d9=9980 watts at .25 on 18v
d5=8k watts at .25 on 18v
both at around 1 ohm of rise.

thats not the same amp and its not even close to the d9.

I have ran both, and am about to go back to the d5 for 0-1000 this year.

the strongest 0-600 watt amp on the market is still the cactus pf600 wich i tested at 8600 watts the same way i tested the d9, and d5.

you guys are getting confused between 4 ohm rating and .25 output it like apples and oranges and if you cant see this then your not nearly as skilled as you maybe thinking you are.

ok, like I said my mistake and the person who originally said it. But can RD not make a newer amp? Are they out of buisness? The person said the new D5 that are coming out. I know at the moment it is not possible and that the d9 is better than the d5, but thank god that the company cant make any more amps.
