Not to be an ass, but if this is the case...shouldn't Kicker also be banned for the kx1200.1? It was knowingly underrated. And I have seen 750.1 birthsheets in the 900w+ range.
There has to be some common ground we can all find here.
If it doesn't pass, it doesn't pass. But the DD rating change came during the that 30% over was allowable.
I would like to see at least 2 random amps tested whenever reratings occur.
This would give a more realistic picture of what the amps can actually do. |
KX1200 passed.
also, 750.1 is a 06 and 08 amplifier, and while it does overrated, (750@2 ohm) customer gets 900 at 2 ohm, that's 2 ohm, not 4 ohm rating. |

USACI has offered to test and rate amps and "CERTIFY" them for use. Not one manufacturer has taken us up on the offer. |

| I GOT NO DOG IN THIS FIGHT MAN EXCEPT FOR THE COMPANY OOOPS PERSON THAT PROTETSED THIS AMP.
I EVEN HAVE READ SOME PEOPLE SAYING THE SAME THING I SAID NO MORE THAN 2 MONTHS AGO THAT GOT ME SLAMMED FOR IT, AND ME AND TRAC(E)Y FIGHTING.
ITS TO ELEVIATE AMPS THAT IS OR CLOSE TO WHAT THERE AMP DOES.
IS THE M3 TO STRONG MAYBE BUT NEEDS TO BE AT 14.4V AND 30% LIKE THE REST OF THE AMOS EVER TESTED HAS BEEN THEN WE WILL KNOW FOR SURE.

| | chris i will get flammed for this but if amps got clamped at finals , run in classes already made , if you are in 0-600 then thats the total power , 601-1800 same , etc.. no one has to sell their amps , no more what does that amp really do ? no more protesting , this would solve a lot of problems , this could be for next year . this year you need to use 30% at 14.4 because that is how other amps in same classes already have been tested . just my 2 cents |

| OK I GOT TO SAY THIS THERE IS A COMPANY OUT TERE THAT HAS BEEN DOING WHAT THEY NEED TO TO HAVE WELL LEGIT AMPS AND THATS RATING THEM AT .5 NOT 4 OHMS THAT WAY WHEN YOU DO THE REVERSE ADDITION IT ADDS UP TO THE PROPER WATTAGE
MMATS 3000.05 IS THE AMP IM REFERRING TO AND I THINK WE ALL KNOW .25 IS THERE SWEET SPOT NOT .5
SO IS THERE WAYS OF HAVING AN AMP STILL DO GOBS OF POWER AND RATED PROPERLY YUP THERE IS.
